The Fairfield and South Ottumwa Hy-Vee stores are currently working with GreenRU, to use an eco-friendly alternative for their food scraps and organic waste.
Students from Iowa City took to the capitol to encourage legislators to consider legislation that would make composting mandatory in restaurants. Chamness Technology, Inc. and GreenRU helped the students to do a waste audit at the capitol.
